Little Story Bags is a small new brand created in 2023 by myself Sarah with our unhelpful spaniel at my feet.  My idea for the brand came initially from helping my daughter with some of the designs in her nursery setting.  I gained an insight into how much open ended play and a child's view of the world may look when playing.  I love being a Mum and Nana! I also have a background in nursing, health & social care, various counselling roles and teaching.  So have some personal and professional experience on how a child may develop a sense of self and understanding of the world they live in through play.  It can be a window into their heart and minds, with support it can help a child overcome many issues to support a healthy emotional and mental mindset.

 

My other interests are interior design, arts and crafts.  I have a keen eye for all things that look warm, calming yet fun when it comes to designing children's spaces.  The design ideas started to snowball when I thought of how much a child loves to play with a box!  How much they can use their imagination to create their own little stories!  It then led me to think of creating bags that can store toy products in, to display in play areas, with the emphasis on they belong to the child either by personalisation or by the use of the word - MY... or I CAN....!   Little ones love to pop this word in front of most things and it's a way for them to  gain a sense of their space, their world. This then gave me the idea for the product names and learning toys they could play with to create their own stories.  So the brand name evolved into LITTLE STORY BAGS.

The other  aspect of my little shop I wanted to design was packing paper !  I wanted it to be not only recyclable but also reusable in the sense that children could use it as a big colouring in page not just something that needs to go straight in the bin!  I really hope it adds an extra bit of fun when opening their special box!
